Meet Payton Runyan

 

 

 

 

Payton Runyan is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Maryland. She received her undergraduate degree, followed by her Master of Social Work and Master of Public Administration degrees, from Ohio State.

 

Payton is currently a residential therapist, providing individual and group therapy to adolescents with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions.

 

Payton utilizes a strengths-based approach with adolescents and young adults in areas focusing on childhood trauma, self-esteem, relationships, family conflict and parenting, and self-harm. Payton is currently working toward her certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
