Gray is currently pursuing comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training and will be pursuing certification in DBT.

Gray’s goal as a Social Work intern is to support children, adolescents, and families in DBT skills learning, emotional regulation and processing, in addition to partnering with Indy to provide animal assisted interventions. Gray has a passion for working with queer and transgender youth and those who may have struggled to participate or stay focused in treatment. They are committed to providing a space that feels safe and affirming for each client and their individual needs.

Gray also has experience facilitating animal assisted groups in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient program settings. They are interested in continuing to explore the benefits of human-animal interaction in therapeutic settings. Gray is excited to support clients who enter care with them in the therapeutic process, with the support of Indy when clinically indicated.
